Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits(such as Pillsbury Grands)
  • 1 lb sliced deli roast beef
  • 8 slices provolone cheese (or mozzarella for a milder flavor)
  • 2 tbsp creamy horseradish sauce (optional but amazing flavor boost)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (optional for brushing tops)
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional garnish)
  • 1 packet au jus mix, prepared according to package directions (for dipping)

Instructions

1. PREHEAT THE OVEN

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.

2. PREPARE THE BISCUITS

  • Open the biscuit can and carefully separate each biscuit into two halves (you’ll have tops and bottoms).
  • Place the bottom halves on your prepared baking sheet, spaced a few inches apart.

3. LAYER THE FILLING

  • Spread a thin layer of creamy horseradish sauce on each biscuit bottom.
  • Add a few slices of roast beef(fold or tear as needed).
  • Place one slice of provolone cheese on top of the meat.

4. TOP AND SEAL

  • Place the top half of each biscuit over the cheese layer.
  • Press gently around the edges to help seal them (you can pinch them a little if needed).
  • For an extra golden look, brush the tops lightly with melted butterand sprinkle with dried parsley.

5. BAKE

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the biscuits are puffed and golden brown on top.

6. PREPARE THE AU JUS

  • While the biscuits bake, prepare the au jus according to the package instructions — usually by whisking the mix into hot water and simmering for a few minutes.
  • Pour into small bowls for individual dipping.

7. SERVE AND ENJOY

  • Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving.
  • Serve warm with au jus for dipping.
