Bacon Cheddar Mashed Potato Bombs

Ingredients You’ll Need

Get your apron ready and gather these simple, yet powerful, ingredients!

For the Potato Base:

  • 3 cups (approx. 720g)
    Prepared Mashed Potatoes (Ideally cold and thick-leftovers are perfect!)
  • 1 Large Egg (for binding)
  • 1/4 cup (approx. 30g) All-Purpose Flour (or cornstarch, for stability)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder «
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • Salt and Freshly Ground
    Black Pepper (to taste) &
    For the Stuffing & Topping:

    • 1 cup (approx. 100g) Sharp
    • Cheddar Cheese, shredded (Monterey Jack or a
      blend works too!)
    • 1/2 cup (approx. 50g) Crispy
      Bacon Bits & (make sure to reserve some for topping!)
    • 2 tbsp Fresh Chives, finely chopped Y (a little for mixing, and the rest for garnish!)
    • 2 tbsp Melted Butter (for brushing, optional but recommended for extra
      crispiness!)
