Ingredients You’ll Need
Get your apron ready and gather these simple, yet powerful, ingredients!
For the Potato Base:
- 3 cups (approx. 720g)
Prepared Mashed Potatoes (Ideally cold and thick-leftovers are perfect!) - 1 Large Egg (for binding)
- 1/4 cup (approx. 30g) All-Purpose Flour (or cornstarch, for stability)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder «
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt and Freshly Ground
Black Pepper (to taste) &
For the Stuffing & Topping:- 1 cup (approx. 100g) Sharp
- Cheddar Cheese, shredded (Monterey Jack or a
blend works too!) - 1/2 cup (approx. 50g) Crispy
Bacon Bits & (make sure to reserve some for topping!) - 2 tbsp Fresh Chives, finely chopped Y (a little for mixing, and the rest for garnish!)
- 2 tbsp Melted Butter (for brushing, optional but recommended for extra
crispiness!)
