Cheesy Chicken Biscuit Casserole

Recipe Introduction: This cheesy, savory casserole is a hit at the dinner table! Inspired by a special request from my boyfriend, I tracked down this recipe and gave it a try. It turned out so delicious, with layers of buttery, soft bread, tender chicken, and melted cheese. It’s a perfect comfort dish, easy to make, and sure to please everyone!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (cut into pieces)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast (diced)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cooked, diced chicken and stir to combine.
  5. Cut the biscuit dough into bite-sized pieces and add it to the mixture, folding gently.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve warm.
