Recipe Introduction: This cheesy, savory casserole is a hit at the dinner table! Inspired by a special request from my boyfriend, I tracked down this recipe and gave it a try. It turned out so delicious, with layers of buttery, soft bread, tender chicken, and melted cheese. It’s a perfect comfort dish, easy to make, and sure to please everyone!
Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (cut into pieces)
- 2 cups cooked chicken breast (diced)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Add the cooked, diced chicken and stir to combine.
- Cut the biscuit dough into bite-sized pieces and add it to the mixture, folding gently.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
