Ingredients:
- 4β5 whole cloves
- 1 cup (250 ml) of water
- Optional: a small piece of cinnamon stick or a few drops of honey for taste

- Boil the Water:
Bring the water to a gentle boil in a small pot or kettle. - Add the Cloves:
Add the whole cloves to the boiling water. You can also add cinnamon if using. - Simmer:
Let the mixture simmer for 5β10 minutes. The water will take on a golden to light brown color. - Strain & Cool:
Strain the clove water into a cup. Let it cool slightly before drinking β it should be warm, not hot. - Optional Sweetening:
Add a few drops of honey if desired. Avoid sugar, as it can counteract some of the benefits.
