Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
2 cups cooked white rice (for serving)
Directions:
1️⃣ Sauté the Shrimp:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with salt and pepper, then cook for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
2️⃣ Prepare the Garlic Butter:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3️⃣ Make the Cream Sauce:
Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, paprika, and black pepper. Simmer gently until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Combine Everything:
Return cooked shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat well in the creamy sauce. Simmer for another 2 minutes.
5️⃣ Serve and Garnish:
Plate the shrimp with a side of hot cooked rice. Spoon extra sauce over the top and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
